You didn't say you revere them but your actions support that. You are very defensive and sensitive to criticisms of billionaires. It's where you interjected on this thread. If you weren't so sensitive to another person wanting them to pay more tax this conversation would not be happenimg.

I find it utterly bizarre. A guy who reveres billionaires calling other people bonkers is some stretch. I don't have any other names on here so take your tinfoil hat off as well. You like to peddle plenty of baseless allegations when you're losing an argument....

How much more tax do you want them to pay and what would that account for? Is it so us plebs could then pay less?
How about our political advocates and the festering CS tackling the waste of tax payers money? Adopting even a little pragmatism instead of pedalling their populist horse manure. You are being hood winked pal.

No it's to provide proper infrastructure, services and resources in relation to health, education, transport, energy etc that do not discriminate against people on their income.

The best thing that can be done is regulation a move away from free market economy designed to preserve billionaires and the elites.

Do you find an issue with private companies owned by billionaires who earn billions of profits from selling essential items or service at an extortionate price that generate huge profits not passed down to workers which also impose extreme financial hardship?

Look at the state of the world now, look at the growing wealth inequality, poverty, homelessness, the rise in fascism etc. Neo liberalism has failed, it's failed because its always been designed to only benefit the elites.

You have a nerve to accuse others of hoodwinking people when you spout such deluded nonsense.

I've stated plenty times during this debate, Tax the billionaires, anyone care to look at that they'll see I posted that.. this (and its completely boring me now) is Bezos didn't come from money in the way Trump and Musk did, that's it..

I asked where I said I revered them, again, it didn't happen. and show me where I support their actions!

Poster loses the run of himself (on multiple threads) and when pulled about having been someone else on here before gets defensive and says I've a tinfoil hat!

Unfortunately we don't live in a socialistic ideology world, I'd be center left in life, so revering billionaires is not a thing, so stop with the shit..

As I said since the industrial revolution, people have been exploited and owners have made their money from that.. All wrong of course and well documented over many years..

The tax system is what it is, and until someone with some gumption comes in and changes it then we are stuck, cause at our level, we really have no say in it.. My eyes are wide open btw and you'll need to show me where I am peddling the populist

No one is willing to tackle the billionaires on more tax due to them threatening to leave the country (which many have btw)

In regards to what should they be taxed, will that's a different debate and I'd like to see what others think on that .. I feel I'm taxed enough

You are a bad man for detail. You interjected in this thread because a couple of posters, none of whom were me, said that billionaires should be taxed more. You launched into an impassioned plea about all the good things billionaires do. That's where I then entered a discussion with you. Are you suffering from memory loss as you seem to be utterly confused here?

You revered them when you took issue at criticism of them and launched an impassioned plea of them. You continued in on with me when I profusely disagreed with your defence of them and all the value and good you believe they bring.

If you weren't so sensitive to billionaires being criticised or the notion of them paying more tax then this argument would not exist. You're all over the shop, again it's the irony of you accusing me of losing the run of myself when you are utterly confused as to what point you're even making.

Need to look at the billionaires paying fuckall tax rather than the ones scrounging benefits. I can guarantee you theres more being lost by the rich not paying than by the poor screwing the system.

If the billionaires are paying nothing and there are ones screwing the system you and I and everyone else trying to provide for their families get screwed the most.

The billionaires have probably employed 100 or even 1,000's of employees to achieve these billions, good money that goes back into the economy

As for cheap housing, knock yourself out, couldn't pay me to live in some of the shiteholes with all the carnage that goes on around them

You felt the need to defend them from criticism and the notion of paying more tax. You're terribly confused on your position here. If you didn't feel the need to launch an impassioned defence of billionaires from being taxed more we would not be having this discussion.

You're telling lies. I never said it was ONLY down to that. I said it was a major reason and the correlation is clear, backed up by examples. You are doubling down on misrepresentations now. This is not the first time I've corrected you on that.

You're disingenuous and hysterical here. Nobody is arguing for communism here, I'm just stating that neo liberalism has been an unmitigated disaster and only served for making society a very unpleasant place presently, a world of growing wealth inequality while billionaires grow their % of the worlds wealth.

Advocating for nationalisation of vital services like health, housing, energy and transport companies is not communism. It's a sensible centre left standpoint.

Advocating for stricter regulation of industries and more progressive taxation systems is what civilized and progressive countries should be doing. Again it's a sensible centre in left position.

When you are ranting about communism to someone with a centre left position it's clear you don't have anything sensible to offer.
