It was some dig but was moved about 10 metres forward, linesman tried to move them back and then just gave up - really poor officiating for such an important free.

Just fantastic effort and drame to the end. Credit to both teams.

Upperchurch just that week bit of a stronger bench, as to be expected.

Pity semi-finals can't be played in CP instead of Parnell Park for example. Pitch in excellent condition. Quality surface in Jan.

I understand why not as there'd be about an extra 20 games on it, between senior, intermediate and junior etc. in Dec and Jan. Be sore on the surface.

Think it costs something like 30k to open Croke Park so unlikely the decision makers will elect to play semis there. Shouldn't be about cost though, I think it's brilliant to see club football and hurling there. Players and supporters will never forget it.
