Wouldn't take many social media pics, but 90% is usually my pints of Guinness

Great shout..the Old Glen on out the road does a great pint of Guinness too. Conways in Ramelton worth a mention
It's the place that started me on my Guinness journey about 30 years ago. Change from 2 punt coins.

Best stout in Ballinascreen is the Shepherds Rest. The fire is always on and there's no WiFi and no reception. Great place to get lost for a few hours 😉. Regans in the town is a close second.

The Flax in Magherafelt.

Belfast for me is Kelly's Cellars.

Dublin is Mulligans.

Moville is the Corner Bar.

Greencastle is the golf club.

Main Street

imo Mulligans was overrated re its pint, their pint was always vastly over chilled on serve. There are or were in the 1980s)  a multitude of other pubs who served a creamy pint at the proper temperature. I admit I'm >30years off the Dublin beat but I suspect the Mulligans pint is still the same.

If you're ever in Crossmaglen call into Hanratty's Bar.  Fantastic pint of stout.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

A great call, patsy Dans in Dunfanaghy

We did the two pubs in Cresslough the other week, very good..

Our clubs pints are great too😉

I was in Patsy Dan's last week they were good but I had a 0% to let herself get another drink in as I was driving and it tasted better than the real stuff. Had a couple in another bar the next night but they weren't nearly as good. Do many people drink the 0% on draft?

I worked in our local and I found if you get the pints selling the Guinness got better and better. Some nights you sold next to none and they were awful (pub owner wouldn't clear the lines) and other nights it was running flat out and it was great.

I worked one Sunday and 3 cyclists came in for a pint. The Guinness was flying after lunch time and they must of had 5 pints each and got back on the bikes for another 6 miles home. Don't think I could manage that.

When I go off the drink for the month I get the zero.. I'm a great man for allowing the feeling that its a beer/stout or even the 0% gin. But have been impressed enough with the zero Guinness all things considered

As for getting on your bike after that! Madness!

Not a massive fan of Guinness zero, though I did only drink it once, straight after a pint of the real stuff.

It's rare to see Guinness zero on draught. I'm not sure where actually does it  You need a very short line, most places have the draught can dispenser on the bar top. (Lines for Guinness zero need cleaned every 3 days, as there is no alcohol to kill bacteria in the line, unlike standard draught beer)

Cross the road into the Greenvale and they do a good pint of G.

Mulligans is long gone as a top pint. Mediocre at best now.

Long Hall, Bowes, The Dame Tavern are for top porter.

Unfortunately not. The demographic has changed. The Press long gone, the civil servants more recently. It's rebranded as a tourist shop and craft is in. They are running too many Guinness pipes for the sales and quality has suffered.
