Look-Up!

Hard to say without knowing too much on Glenullin. They've won 3 of the last 4 intermediates in Derry so can't be bad although hardly pulled up trees outside Derry. Ballyhaise best them so encouraging from a Cuchulainn's viewpoint. Ballinderry obviously very strong last year but struggled badly in the senior this year so I'd imagine the grades in both counties are comparable.

I don't know what stage Glenullin are at, whether a seasoned old team or coming young team but Cucus have a very nice blend and I would say there is a lot of improvement in them if they can keep together. Great result last day out too against a very strong team but left lots after them so lucky to get away with it in a way. I think it will be very close, not much more than a kick of a ball in it and should be a great game. Cavan side have the ability but I'd be very worried of the occasion and Derry men's experience.

SouthOfThe Bann

Cuchullains slight favourites with the bookies. Which could be liable to flip the other way before the game.

I see Sallins of Kildare Favorites for the All Ireland.

Followed by An Gaelatcht of Kerry

Cuchullains and Strokestown next favourites.

Sallins have been incredibly impressive to date. That Kilbride side they annihilated last weekend are only a couple of years up from junior but were very impressive Meath champions.

There's a lot of chat in Kildare about Sallins being real SFC contenders the next few years.

Must be good if they're bookies favourites. That would be no mean An Gaeltacht team. Won the west Kerry championship this year, beating Dingle no less on the way.

Would be careful about reading too much into that result. Dingle won the county championship a couple of weeks before and played without any of their county players, or Mark O'Connor. Ghaeltacht's last game was the Intermediate final a couple of months earlier so they were full strength to get them ready for the AI. Hadn't won West Kerry since 2017 either which didn't do any harm, Dingle not as bothered as they'd already won the county.

Imagine something being different from the way it's done in the great and mighty Tyrone. The arrogance!
However, most counties would never see their Division 1 league teams playing in the Junior football championship.
But can it happen?
Not in Tyrone it can't. Unless some major f**k up happens i guess lol
