Waited since first round of Ulster last year to put up that message  :D  coming out of Tyrone is a season's work... Kilcoo's season starts in Ulster.. as for Antrim  ::)

Clearly don't watch the down championship.

There was a lot of misplaced confidence around Loughmacrory coming up against the most seasoned team in Ulster football, and I don't know why. They came through the weak side of the draw in Tyrone.

I don't think there was from Tyrone tho. I would have been very surprised had Lough won yesterday. They were an underdog for the Tyrone championship at the start as well. So I didn't have too high expectations for them.
They'll be happy with their year.

Would love to see Madden get their win today but a big ask, that's definitely a good Newbridge team.

Went to the game as a neutral yday. Was in the middle of a large kilcoo contingent in the stand.

Have to say it was not a pleasant experience.

While Kilcoo were always likely going to win I thought that Lough had a chance. The chance where McElholm went through and shot for goal when a point might have been a better option. This would have brought them within 1 I think. Kilcoo broke away and scored a point straight away and then followed up with a 2 pointer.  What could have been 1 stretched to 5 in a few minutes and it was good night Irene at that point. Kilcoo will be hard to beat on experience alone but they are not the team they were so are there for the taking.

This doesn't relate to Kilcoo specifically but people need to be honest. Every club has their clowns and mouth pieces. I see and hear it at every game I go to, whether it's adult or underage.

And sometimes they become more emboldened in with a bigger group. Herd mentality.

And a lot of the time it's just complaining about every decision a referee makes. Even if up by 20pts, they'd still be giving the referee abuse.

I think a lot of these type of 'supporters' have never ever coached a team.

Tyrone club football is still the best about. Kilcoo I know had to prepare very diligently for that last night whilst probably had a hangover to shake off and loughmacrory were still very hard to beat. There are quite a few Tyrone club teams at this level which demonstrates a very competitive championship and hence such a strong county setup at all levels...we are all playing catch up in Ulster.

Kilcoo man marked Lough's best 2 forwards and they struggled.
That's just normal preparation.

Kilcoo were 50% from play, which will be a worry for them.
They should have won by alot more and they looked like they were playing in second gear.
The truth is they played poorly.
There semi final and final performances in Down were of a higher standard.
