Quote from: ElJeffe on January 03, 2026, 03:19:07 PMRules are rules. The player lay on the ball and messed around. Correct decision to stop this happening. Like it or lump it but you can clearly see he stops the ball been released

Great call by the ref

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on January 03, 2026, 03:09:01 PMDidnt move it up whole game or in the other semi, on sport tg4 to the end. There multi times in that game the ball was delayed handing back to the player to slow it down. Hows the man on the ground even know what way that free going. Hes not looking at the ref.
The An Gaeltacht players don't want the ball handed back there. It's not their fault and I'd do the same. Stand over him, hand on the back so he can't stand up and make the ref call it. But this is what the people wanted I suppose so no use in complaining. Was always against it. Pure joke

Utter nonsense, literally no one wants that.. Well apart from El Jaffa cake which is no surprise
Every rule that was brought in won the vast majority of the votes. Can't remember off the top of my head but think it was something like every rule bar 1 that was brought in got 70+% but open to correction on that. I seen a minor club player punished for throwing the ball to a lads chest (which is far quicker than running it back) and was punished for doing it. Some refs just need to cop on too

Grangenolvin 0-16 Ballymacelligot 2-13.

Good game. Right team won, just about. Grange got it back to a point but then quickly conceded 3 to all but wrap it up. Came back time and again. Few of the main Grange lads were either kept out of the game or bettered by their opponents. Ballymacelligot have a serious midfield for a junior team, both in terms of size and football. Kust a little bit more class in a few positions today as well.

Ballymacelligot vs. Clogher should be some scrap.

In fairness Ballymacelliot have been a division 1 team for a good few years in Kerry and probably should have won that junior a few years ago.

Whatever about what rules was brought in human error happens and for me that was an error by Sean Lonergan of Tipperary to bring the ball 50 yards forward from that incident.

As neutral watching a disappointing way to decide what was a good Intermediate All-Ireland semi-final.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

League means shag all in Kerry though. Anyone in Kerry will tell you that.

Grange firmly mid table in Division 2 in Kildare where it's taken very seriously and have been in several semifinals the last few years.

Two very good junior teams. I'd have Ballymacelligot favourites over Clogher based on today.

Handing the ball back and the kickouts I have an issue with. There's no one I know 100% happy with all the new rules

Yes, even with it being Div 1 v Div 3

Céin D'Arcy: the spelling is completely made up. I've no idea why my parents did that to me. It's like "Cian".

True league means feck all in alot of counties... But a junior team comfortable in division 1 is a bit of a anomaly. Think they finished top 4 one year.

They do not, do they? You hold your own in Kerry snr Div 1 you're not a junior level club

gallsman

Very good start for Boden. Dingle nowhere near it on the kickouts.

armaghniac

Boden doing well
Their goalie is not very easily seen, all blue would have been better than all white.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

gallsman

Boden could have had 2 or 3 goals here already. They look miles better.

Harold Disgracey

Boden should be out of sight here.
