Correct decision against Hughes there. Ridiculously charged into the man trying to buy the 50m advancement and give Beggan a chance for two.

The free was for overcarrying. He overcarried it because he daftly tried to convince Cawley that the solo and go was being impeded by running into the man.

Yes he did. He changed direction to ensure he made contact with him, stopped and turned and appealed to Cawley, then tried to play on when he realised he had nothing coming to him and was rightly done for overcarrying.

Full Time St Brigids 1-16 Scotstown 1-12. Best team over the 60 minutes won.

Brigid's absolutely deserve that win. Played much the better football throughout with yet could quite easily have lost it against a team with cooler heads. They've some really classy footballers.

One that Scotstown will regret but they can look back on their year with pride after finally winning Ulster.

Couple of times they chose to pass inside to a man in heavy traffic while ignoring multiple players on the overlap outside.

Don't think it's fair to say Scotstown kicked out away, as if they've only themselves to blame, but Christ some of it was shocking.

The poor shooting can be attributed to many things, pressure from st brigids, wrong men on the ball (number 8 had plenty of chances) keeping them at bay and turnovers
