Ghaeltacht well on top of Sallins. Don't know how bookies had Sallians as favourites.

Covid championship I think. One of the last names on the bench at corner back popped up in the depths of injury time to, very awkwardly, kick a winner.

They were hit very badly by lads going to Australia I think. Ex county player full back currently there on holidays might have made a difference to the gaping hole down the middle today  :o

2022.
Scraped into knockout stages and went in to win it.
Got relegated in 2023, lost Inter Final to Elphin in 2924.
Did well to come back after that awful start to 2nd half but poor misses when 2 down and then a bad attempt for a point ends in the net..
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

From enforcing 50m for not handing the ball bck which cost a cork team a game. I watched 2 games the day where the rule been basically ignored.

Ghaeltacht 0-15 Sallins 1-12. Extra time coming up.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Quote from: ElJeffe on January 03, 2026, 02:10:45 PMStrokestown took one hell of a beating. Poor enough team hyped up for weeks

Where was all that hype? Betting odds going into game was:
Glenullin 8/11
Draw 8/1
Strokestown 8/5

There was only 2 points in it with 6 or 7 minutes to go when a 4th goal against run of play basically ended it as a contest. A poor one to concede by the goalie at that time. After that Strokestown were kicking hope and kick high balls into square. However look forward to seeing Shane McGinley develop more in a senior county geansaí. Congrats to Glenullin, a big team that will be hard to beat.

Ref giving Ballymacelligot some very soft frees in the second junior semi.

It's pretty clear at this stage ElJeffe is a WUM and probably didn't even watch the game and pre match odds are news to him.

Strokestown beaten by 9 points but that doesn't tell the true reflection of what was a competitive game. Not sure what happened with that 4th and game deciding goal,  did it take a deflection or the sun get in the Keepers eyes?

Glenullin a strong looking outfit watching the other semi-final now I'll be surprised if the winner can beat them.

True story ?  The true story is 9 points and 5 goals conceded. No point talking about your opinion or analysis of the game because all the matters is the final score.

Gael85

Sallins decision making will cost them.

Gael85

A lot of Sallins bodies cramping up.

Carbon copy of the Barrs game here

Kerry team handed it again

f**k these rules anyway. How on earth are you meant to hand the ball with 3 men on top of you?

Didnt move it up whole game or in the other semi, on sport tg4 to the end. There multi times in that game the ball was delayed handing back to the player to slow it down. Hows the man on the ground even know what way that free going. Hes not looking at the ref.
