Some team but their decision making at times is just very strange. Can remember a few occasions from the past few years. Full back kicking it away in '23 against Scotstown and Beggan comes up to kick the winner. Brannigan last year getting sent off for elbowing a player in the jaw. Had some strange shot decisions against Loughmacrory and Scotstown this year.

Maybe it's just the fact they've played so many games that you are going to get more mistakes but I'd expect a team as good as Kilcoo to be less prone to making them

I'm sure if you told those players and supporters in 2011 or so that they'd go on to win what they have and achieve what they have they would take your hand off for it

Why can they not have an inhouse management team.

Currently what they have done works?

I remember they beat us in our last Ulster club appearance, the hunger desire and pace beat us. They are still the team to beat and Scotstown had to go to the well a few times to win.

While their shenanigans can give them a bad rep, their achievements are top drawer..

Ref'd them once in a challenge game, it might as well been the club final as treated that game like it was!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I don't like some of their antics but can't take away from what they have achieved

SpeculativeEffort

I think Kilcoo actually took their efforts at controlling the game too far this time.

Ponderous in possession as if they couldn't be dispossessed, but they were and punished heavily.

Referees have less sympathy for teams playing slowly and acting the maggot with possession. Half fouls are being ignored and opposition can catch them on the break.

One would argue they have massively underachieved. 2 Ulster and 1 all Ireland.

3 final losses in 4 years.

They have their all Ireland but there will be plenty of regret when they look back

What's the average age of their team?

I think that's pressure. These things happen when the pressure is on...no matter how many games/championships you've won.

What's your club?

Congrats Scotstown, they must be absolutely delighted to get over that line.

Substandard

Can't but say they are battle-hardened before the semifinal.  On a rough day, their physicality will be a big factor against Brigids.  Brigids will need to keep the ball moving and avoid getting caught in contact for the most part.  It'll be an interesting match up.

Ballyboden  4/6
Brigids     3/1
Scotstown   9/2
Daingean    10/1

straightred

ON the semi final its Brigits 8/11 and Scotstown 6/4

Scotstown will have to come back down to earth quickly but carry huge experience this time. They've come through open games and battles. They've now been taken to ET 3 times but in each of those times they were caught up rather than doing the catching. They even have a penalties win. Closing out games is a problem but they're still winning. I'll have a nibble at 6/4

Blowitupref

Leinster double for Kildare clubs this afternoon.

Junior final

Grangenolvin 1-12 The Fighting Cocks  1-8

Intermediate final

Sallins 2-11 Tubberclaire 2-4
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Would be nice for a Monaghan side to win an All Ireland
