Can't wait. Think we will be victorious. Just don't see how Donegal will handle kinsella , Duke , Costello, Morris.
In keoghan and raff we have the players to nullify anything Donegal throw at us.
Could be completely wrong. But honestly can't see anything other than a Meath victory by a few
I like your optimism,  and I  really hope you're right

but I honestly can't see anything other than a  Donegal win here. Maybe as much as  10 points.

Optimism is one thing. Being unable to see any way Donegal could beat Meath is quite another thing.
well let me put it this way. I don't believe in any shape or form Donegal would have beat Galway, Kerry and Dublin. In space of a short while.

Would Meath have won the Ulster Championship this year or last?

Was at the Leinster final. Meath are ket as we will see tomorrow. Donegal by at least five. Jimmy winning matches

Donegal had no problem with Louth though.

Alot of confidence from the Meath lads here. IMO they will need to be 8 or 9 up at halftime to have any chance.

So the day has finally arrived.
To Robbie, Eoghan all the team and my coworker Shane. Best wishes lads. I really don't think the journey ends today but should it happen. Thanks for a fantastic year. Putting Meath football back to where it belongs. We are definitely the coming team and will win a few all Irelands over the next 5 to 10 years. This years progress came sooner than expected. But we are here so let's go for it. It wasn't expected in 96 either when we went out with a bunch of kids and beat the all ire fav in a semi final.

I'm not putting any limit to what this team can accomplish but definitely Donegal is a big step up for us. I feel like it could go a hundred different ways and of course Donegal are favourites but I trust these players and management to come prepared.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Donegal have been awful in the first half of matches so this is not an unlikely scenario. Seems to be the ten to fifteen minutes after half time they step it up.

Wouldn't be surprised if Meath win but think Donegal maybe will have too much. Regardless Brennan has done some job for Meath.

DaleCooper

Good luck to Meath but like yesterday hard to look past a handsome win for the favourites.

Meath winning Sam would be absolutely seismic and great for Gaelic Football, its possible but probably beyond them for the time being.

Looking at this the worst was the last game and the three games in as many weeks perhaps played a part?

V Monaghan  1-15 to 0-11 behind
V  Louth  1-6 to 0-7 in front, goal was scored in the 34th minute
V  Mayo    0-9 to 0-6 in front
V Cavan  1-12 to 1-5 in front, Donegal goal was after the hooter
V Tyrone 2-7 to 0-11 behind
V Armagh  0-14 to 0-11 ahead
V Down  1-12 to 0-7 ahead
V Monaghan 0-14 to 0-8 in front
V Derry  1-12 to 1-5 in front
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

DaleCooper

Yup expect Donegal to be evens or leading at half time, given they've had the rest

Onky saw the 2nd half but reasonable enough game. Fair few in the stadium already.Doesn't look anywhere near as warm as yesterday.

Can't see anything but a Donegal victory here.
