Two more Irish medals there... Haughey and O'Callaghan
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Truthsayer

That is so random:the grandniece of Charlie Haughey just won a bronze  medal medal for Hong Kong at swimming. Siobhán Bernadette Haughey

Itchy

Strange RTE made so little of Haugheys win, Irish father and all.

What a lovely person Mona McSharry is and isn't it wonderful to see nice thing happen to a nice person. Well done to her.

Jesus what are the women's 7s at? Just place the ball for Australia to run the whole pitch?! Twice now!!!

Capt Pat

Australia not taking their penalties from the right spot and scoring tries from them. That is not correct surely?

Some trimming in the rubgy

Mens 800m Freestyle final tomorrow. Should be around 8:02pm.

Australia and New Zealand are a different level in women's sevens rugby. Unfortunately watching Northern hemisphere teams play against them as they gallop off like that is a like watching an old farmer trying to chase a spring heifer that got loose.

First Sligo person to win an Olympic medal?
Great for Ireland to get a medal so early.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed

square_ball

Good chance for Daniel Wiffen to medal as well in the 800m tonight.

The double scull rowers into the final on Thursday morning. Finished 1st in their semi final and looked very impressive. Another good chance of a medal there.

Tony Baloney

What's the odds on Wiffen's swim being shown on the BBC as those RTE c***ts have it blocked. Any other options if not shown?
