What's wrong with cut grass and petrol like the rest of us?

MR2, as a kid I'd hang around the uncles farm and he'd we stick welding the odd time and I used to like that burning smell off the rods alright.

Turf fire.
Petrol.
Cut grass.
Paint.
New trainers.
Textbooks.
Cool Water.
Rain on tarmac on sunny day.
New baby smell.
Bread toasting.
The smell from the brown choppy bag when the goods are opened.

I miss that smell. We had an old neighbour that used to light his pipe when playing 25, and rarely get around to taking a puff. It was always going out, and he'd light it again. I loved the smell, but there are very few pipe smokers left in the country I'd say

Anyone mentioning   cut grass as a great smell must not be hay fever  sufferers

I'm bloody  tortured at the minute. Cut grass  sets my hay fever  off in seconds
