Milltown Row2

The smell of the burning welding flux brings back my apprenticeship days.

The sound (I know its smells lol) of wood pigeons evokes great memories of my days with Euro children in Belgium

I don't smoke but the smell of a lingering cigarette, childhood memories of a time when mum and dad were smoking away carefree in the house! ah the days lol
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Some great ones already,

But bacon sarnie in a field of fresh cut grass is hard to beat.

Love the turf fire, the smell is why I refuse to change our open  fire for a log burner.

Not deep heat, but linament for the same reasons. Maybe I'm showing my age.

That new baby smell....but it has to be your own baby. Smelling other people's babies is weird.

Paint.

Brake cleaner.

Fresh cut turf.

New wellies.

Old spice and Brut. Ahem.

Christmas.

Back to childhood here

There was a great  whiff when you opened a packet of  the old football panini stickers

A new pencil case

I can still  recall  them both now years later

Aye, and then the hoor would end up smelling of pencil shavings, even if it never seen a pencil

Something metaphysical about all this

Like for example, i've never tasted a bag of pennies, but for some reason i'm sure i know what it tastes like 🤷♂️
