Are you going to continue this "I was the only one who thought..." all year?

It was tiresome by the end of Laois' season. Can't be dealing with it all year.
Abbeyleix would have been favourites today. It wasn't a 20/1 winner you picked.

Looking at todays game wouldn't fancy BK to do too much. Sluggish & no fire in them. Slow team, bigger pitch suited Abbeyleix, they used the widths well at times

Fidel i was only calling what I thought and now I think BK might not make a semi unless they do some serious work.
I think if Abbeyleix met your typical Camross in a semi,  Camross would bully them physically but I don't think that Camross are spectacular either. Standard is poor in the county, stronger clubs holding their own level while others slightly declining & that's why calling maybe Bcola / Camross etc .  Just think the quantity & quality of players Abbeyleix missing might catch them in latter stages when things ramp up.
The Harps have got to prove us all wrong have they got that unity & grit to get them to latter stages or will it be same old same old.

Get over yourself, your not too backwards in coming forward yourself Verbal, Only used that three times in over one hundred posts, you not God's Oracle when it comes to getting things right 20/1. The Fung

Verbal

Well over myself.
I'm not arsed counting, but you must have used it 20 times in the lead up to the Joe McDonagh final stages.

Abbeyleix full value by the way. They aren't bad.
Hard to see what the future holds for BK.

Galtee1

Round 1
Abbeyleix vs The Harps
Rosenallis vs R/E
Ballinakill vs B/K
Ballacolla vs Castletown
Portlaoise vs Camross

Abbeyleix vs Harps and Ballinakill vs B/K probably the only ones up for debate.

Ballacolla with a highly regarded Tipp coach added to the coaching ticket in recent weeks will be a big plus.

Laois man

Is that tipp coach a roscrea man?

Galtee1

Laois man

He's in there a while now. Ctown normally give Cbolla a good game in the Cship.

Galtee1

I see, I only heard about it recently. A good appointment.
I can't see anything but an easy Cbolla win.

Laois man

Picky a massive lost to Cbolla this year.

Verbal

I'd go for

The Harps
Rathdowney Errill
Draw
Clough Ballacolla
Camross

Who is the Tipp coach with CB?

Galtee1

What happened Picky? Is he gone for the season?

Aleix to beat the harps

Voice of tReason

Picky (Cruciate) and Conway (USA) gone for c/Ballacolla against Castletown...this has banana skin written all over it and Castletown will really fancy it. I think they could edge it.

I still think The Harps will beat Abbeyleix but Duggan's loss (USA) could be telling.

RE, Camross and BK all to win with the minimum of fuss.

The infidel in exile

I have no reason not to believe that both Abbeyleix and Clough/Ballacolla will come out of Group A, as the are the only two teams in Group A, that can take points from R/E, B/K, Castletown and the Camaroons and the Harps. I expect Abbeyleix to beat The Harps on the 11th, then they should beat Castletown and B/k and possibly do the double over R/E.

C/B and Abbeyleix will both pick up at least 6 points, which will put them through to the knockouts. Group B, is harder to navigate, as any of four teams could come out of Group B. Camross definitely, but after them, I can't pick another. As The Harps, B/k, R/E and Castletown are very close to each other, I think that Castletown are improving as a team.
