Hi all,
I'm looking into purchasing a Veo System for our club, or the likes. Does anyone have any experience/comments on it and know of any sales contacts, or do I just go directly to their website?

https://www.veo.co/en-gb

I'm interesting in gathering data (skill execution/movement) so as to analyse it for each player and for skill execution in general, so as to tailor training sessions.

Thanks in advance,
GMF.

I actually asked our club to look into one. Had a few teams use it when playing against us. Got the footage and it was useful enough.

Don't know of any sales contacts but we have one and it's been very useful.

Had some chat with this fella on soccer application but he might help you out.

Veo2 can. I've never see it in operation but they were advertising it as such last year before launch.

My club bought a VEO camera at the tail end of 2024. But the GAA and LGFA are now both saying that adult games can't even be recorded if any U18's in playing as part of the team.

Anyone have any insight into this?

Armagh stream club matches including league games, plenty of clubs using VEO as well.

It's to do with how Veo store the data/ images etc with regards to child protection/ safety. I believe VEO were unable to satisfy the GAA queries regarding these areas. VEO's AI was also an area of concern I think.

I work for VEO in my spare time. If you have any issues let me know and I can run them up the food chain.

Most senior teams seem to be using it now,a lot of games I go to both teams are using it.

How much the version 2 with the live streaming? Can the original one be upgraded?

Still not allowed to be used for GAA games

Interesting. The local soccer club uses for teams of all ages. So long as videos are not shared on social media and a few other general guidelines it's not been an issue.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Veo do introductory offers all the time but you are usually looking at about 1500 first time set up cost and around 700 a year after that I think.

They have just launched a two iPhone solution for about £500 with annual costs of around £350. I haven't had a chance to test it yet but should get my hands on it for pre season.

Onto version 3 at the minute. Version 1 is no longer supported and can't be upgraded. Version 2 isn't for sale any longer but is still supported.

I assume version 4 is on the way soon as I'm getting one to test later this week.

David do you know if there is anything going on in the background to meet whatever requirements the GAA have to allow VEO recording of underage games?
