The man. The legend.

It does befuddle me that a man who initially gained fame as a songwriter has penned some of the laziest lyrics of all tim, even in his best songs.

"And no one heard at all, not even the chair"

"Honey's sweet, but it ain't nothing next to baby's treat"

But he did write some bangers, so I guess that makes him the Noel Gallagher of his day. Maybe even wrote enough good stuff to forgive him for inflicting Sweet Caroline on the world.
