Might be worth making it Paul Heaton, extending it to the Housemartins and his own stuff.

Fantastic artist btw

Dave Hemingway who was with him in the Housemartins & then moreso Beautiful South had a great voice

Briana Corrigan, left in early 90's, super voice .

Heaton was mostly the songwriter for Beautiful South with hemmingway and Corrigan up front (heaton sang too of course). Great band although a bit like meatloaf less top hits than you remember Heaton has matured to national status on account of coming across as a decent skin plus longevity in the music business tends to bestow such status.

Looking forward to seeing him in enniskillen.

Ah I dunno if the small print allows that.  The rules didn't allow Clannad with Enya , so I think we'll have to do both TBS and THM separately.

Would Heatons solo stuff be  well known though?  I do like TBS and THM but don't know much of his own  stuff, except  for the  Cover of that  Paul Whitehouse song

Are they deserving of a place? Is there  many big hits  to choose from?
