Ah we're just throwing  ideas   around. OHW's are difficult to recall so  we'll all  finalise our top 3 over the coming days.

Normal service will resume  in due course

A few 70s one hit wonders (I think but there's always that obscure 2nd hit. Even Toto had one)

Rock the Boat - The Hues Corporation
Where do you go to my lovely? - Peter Sarstedt (an ode to the lonely Sophia Loren?)
Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks

Tony Baloney

Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice
No Rain by Blind Melon always makes an appearance on my 90s playlist. Couldn't name another song.
Tainted Love - Soft Cell. Banger but again couldn't name another one.

Since yesterday Strawberry Switchblade

80s music was terrific, songs above never get old.

Tanita Tikaram - Twist in my sobriety (She has a very long-awaited new album out now)
Michelle Shocked - Anchored down in Anchorage
Stan Ridgway  - Camouflage

Also
John Farnham - You're the voice
Midnight Oil - Beds are burning
John Parr - St. Elmo's fire
David & David - Welcome to the boomtown
John Waite - Missing you at all

Vincent Hanley (RIP) and MT USA has a lot to answer for!

I'm not sure if these are OHWs but certainly the only ones I remember from these artists

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
The Buggles - Video Killed the Radio Star
The New Radicals - You get what you give

Honourable mentions to Mambo No5 (Lou Bega) and Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.

I will hold my hands up if I have missed some crackers from these lot.

Did the Sultans of Ping  have any other hits other than Wheres Me Jumper?

That one just  came to me. Would definitely be in my top three

Armamike

Safety Dance - Men without hats.  Hard to dislodge it when you hear it.
That's just, like your opinion man.

If you go by UK charts they and a lot of Irish bands including Hothouse Flowers, the Frank and Walters, maybe even Clannad, would be one hit wonders.

Forgot to mention Jilted John (Gordon is a Moron) which caused a lot of bad blood between Ros and Kerry in 1978 when a gang of young lads changed the words to Ogie is a Moran in the CeannĂ¡ras Cup final that preceded the All-Ireland U21 final.

Rufus T Firefly

Furniture - Brilliant Mind
Ph.D. - I Won't Let You Down
Matthews Southern Comfort - Woodstock.
