QuoteHull's bid for Campbell accepted

Manchester United have accepted a bid from Hull City for England Under-21 striker Fraizer Campbell.

Hull have been given permission to discuss personal terms with Campbell after agreeing a reported £6m fee.

Thats very good business.  Whilst we have spent a lot in the transfer market over the years I doubt if any top club comes close to matching the income generated by United from their superb youth set-up.

If Tevez stays he will play a lot more next season. I think Ferguson realises his mistake. Rooney and Tevez up front together with Berbatov as cover. Keep Ronaldo on the wing and occasionally drifting up top. Need another winger (Valencia the most realisitic, Ribery too expensive). I don't see Madrid going after Ronaldo now that they have landed Kaka. Hargreaves is bad news. Good centre mid needed. Not too many about.

Utd have confirmed it on their website.  TBH the writing has been on the wall since this time last year.

£80 million - very very good business - fabablous player but United are right to cash in - Will Tevez stay now ? The lad from Wigan will obviously sign now too.

Platini has been critical of English club's spending.... specifiically Chelsea. His silence over Real is deafening.

In fact on further consideration, £80m is madness - United were right to cash in - It looks like there was a deal done last year that he could go this summer.

The diving and tantrums will go down well in Spain - he'll be a big hit.

Clown

it'll be hard to replace 25 odd goals on a 'bad' season from him!

i suppose immediately he is no longer the 'best player in the world' now
