Shouldn't the antics on Sunday be dealt with first or is that being swept under the carpet? Seems the football fraternity don't want to address the issue, bar a select few. Plenty of nodding dog "no-one could condone it" sentiments, have heard bigger outcry for a few handbags at the club championships.

The Glazers have done nothing illegal, the fans have. Criminality leading to the cancellation of a game, points deduction feels about right. The has to be some sort of punishment surely?

If they can't deal with the 6 clubs looking to create their own ESL then why is it strange they haven't applied any punishment for the cancelation?

Club should be fined and points awarded and points deducted to Utd, lets see what happens though

ESL being a hypothetical proposal that evidently at this point isn't going ahead, it was never real, or is there a set of fixtures and a trophy sitting somewhere in readiness? Also an apology was issued, accepted or not what else can the business do? (bar cede to a rabble)

The weekend belligerence was real, yeno like real people gathering and breaking real covid restrictions, breaking and entering (a real criminal offence, and criminal damage), forcing the cancellation of a real fixture.

Criminal damage should be looked at and people charged for it, should be no hiding places for fans throwing flares at grounds, away teams buses or supporters, hopefully the police do something about it, I've already said twice now what should be done to the club over the cancelation of the game.

Other than tie them up and whip them around the pitch there isn't much more you can do, what's the PL rules on cancelations of the games due to fans breaking into the ground?

Fining United millions and deducting them 15 points would be fantastic news, a huge win for the protestors.

United fans have had enough, this is not going away.

Jeez I don't know Manc
Glaziers wouldn't absorb the fine the clubs kitty would. As a LFC fan 15 points for leister, Chelsea and West Ham as well

A decent take on weekend from an outfit who can see past the point scoring and realise that we're all fans.

Worth a listen to full podcast or at least the couple of minutes linked at the bottom of piece

Strikes me as very odd particularly the decision to move the Fulham game forward.

It's a pity United didn't get Cavani 3 or 4 years ago. Reminds me of Sheringham with his intelligent runs and movement.

Arsenal couldn't nick a goal

Nothing odd about it. Forcing United to play the rearranged fixture 2 days after the team in 3rd place is as close as it gets to awarding England's Shame the points.

Deserved win on the night for Roma and thanks mostly to United delivering their worst defensive performance since losing 6-1 to Spurs at the start of the season and but for DeGea United would have conceded at least 6 goals again tonight.

Need to improve a lot in defence to win the final against a Villarreal side unbeaten in 14 games in this competition and managed under Unai Emery who has already won Europa league 3 times.

I thought it got a lot worse when Shaw and AWB went off. The amount of unchallenged crosses in the 2nd half was mad. Not to forget Fred acting the maggot on the edge of his own box again. They are through so the game goes in the bin.

Glad it's not Arsenal but it will take a good performance to beat Villareal. We can just hope there's no injuries over the next couple of weeks to deal with.

United took some stick for signing Cavani but he's been some signing, they've got to keep him as United won't be signing Kane or Haaland. He had a dip in form a few months ago and didn't think he looked interested but since then he's been outstanding. There's plenty of big clubs around Europe and the Premier League wondering why they weren't in for him.

14 goals is a great return considering the time he has had on the pitch. Great example of what a striker should be.

Loved the way he game steaming in last night when a couple of Roma players tried to rough Greenwood a bit. Used a bit of manual persuasion and took his yellow. Job done.  8)

Moyes was rumoured to be after him in 2013, such a shame he didn't come then as would have been a United legend; Brilliant all round centre forward.
