What's the thoughts on Falcao so far ?

Has shown fleeting glimpses of being the player he used to be but not nearly enough to justify forking out the loot for him at seasons end, yet...

For all the panic about the defense, the goals conceded column is not all that bad. United should be scoring more though but I think they're still improving/on the right track. Interesting to see an article on the score over the Christmas comparing Hazard and Mata's stats since Mata moved to United. Uncannily similar.

What will also be interesting is what teams LVG picks when all players are available. Most likely horses for courses depending on who United are playing.

More goals will come when DeMaria returns. He has the pace to make goals on the counter attack and he has the creativity to unlock packed defences. Hope he is back soon and shows the form and interest he had at the start of the season.

The Spurs game highlighted the key issue during the recent good run.  Even if you tighten things up at the back, when you create less than half a dozen decent shots on target,  some days a good keeper will save them all.

Think Real twigging that he really isn't a very good footballer. Pacy yes, but technically ordinary enough. More fool MU to sign him up if it happens.

Indeed Real think he's a dungbag. . .

I doubt he would be a step back compared to Utds current wingers of Young and Valencia!!

Some of you lads have no idea where your club is at present do you??

He's just casting a line out, he's not that bothered who he catches  ;D

Half time... Stoke 1 ( Shawcross 2), United 1 (Falcao 26).

Meh. I suppose a point is not bad. Falcao starting to show his worth. Thought he was taken off too soon. 10 games unbeaten. Defence still average.

It has been a poor Christmas for the Champions elect.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

United are not winning enough Away games this season. Not only has it stopped them from having a meaningful involvement in the title race, it's now allowing the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool to get closer to them in the race for 3/4 places.
