Blowitupref

QuoteMost transfer fees are paid in instalments over the length of the contract.

That length of time when the instalments is for players who playing for other clubs. I doubt any half decent run club are at that carry on.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Pretty ambitious (leaving aside questions of aesthetics).

Will the final product look anything like that?

And all those houses etc.??

Since the competition was re-branded to Champions league in 1992/93 It's been five North England winners (Manchester United 2,Liverpool 2 and Manchester City 1)  London 2 both won by Chelsea.

The Glazers was calling for the new stadium regeneration project and to be paid for from elsewhere back in 2018 and now it's labelled as brainchild project under Ratcliffe?

In Italy, city teams joint share, to save costs. How come no Einstein thought this up yet over in England.

I suppose Big clubs need control. You'd have to have to have two museums. The Magic of seeing you team playing at home and for tourists fans.

Like in the US they are municipal stadiums, rented off the local city council.
Neither Inter or Milan own the San Siro for example.
Not one bean will come from the Glazers.

Will look good in the championship 🤣🤣

It looks like a massive project. About 100 acres of the area will flattened for the redevelopment though.

Don't think the land was the issue, there is lots of unused industrial type land in the area, hence why they are talking about it as a regeneration project and not just a stadium project.

gallsman

They're talking about it as a regeneration project so they can squeeze every last penny of public funding that they can out of it.
