Some equaliser. Mata had some terrible misses. Otherwise a decent performance, just an off day up front.

Terrible performance so many shots on target not worth the draw to be honest
Don't think so. Well worth the draw it was one traffic that match, hard to believe Manchester United almost lost that game and the Stoke goal was a OG.

Some strike by Rooney to break the scoring record.

The misses were criminal to be fair!! And some wrong options. Two points dropped??
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

If you're reading Wayne, well done.

How ironic that it takes a scouser to break Charltons record )

That was as good a free kick as you will see all season, absolutely sublime.

Rooney has never been a world class striker.

Van Nistlerooy, Tevez, Berbatov, Van Persie and now Ibrahimovic have all shown they are better than him during their spells at Utd.

Rooney has had a fantastic career but I would argue that he didn't achieve his full potential. He has been in gradual decline for about 4 years now and should never have got that last big contract that Moyes give him.

The Stallion

Fantastic? It's all relative I suppose but he has been rubbish at every major international tournament bar a game or 2 at Euro 2004, been outshone by a succession of better strikers at Utd,  and been a plodding ineffectual lump for a few years now.

Still he's a millionaire with new hair and his pick of the nation's  grandmothers so I'm sure he's satisfied with his lot.

StGallsGAA

Hardly Rooney's fault England are garbage.  He's scored enough for them unless you expect him to play in goals too??

Rooney, despite some unsavoury contract related issues and three or four years of poor play, deserves massive credit for this record. There were a few seasons at his peak when he was really, really good - as good as all but 2 or 3 forwards in the world. It's an incredible number of goals so fair play to him.

The game was really frustrating, an all too frequent occurrence in recent times. Played well, created chances and missed chance after chance. The early season mucking about with team selections and tactics mean that United can't afford "one of those days" unfortunately. Need to stop giving poor teams a goal start too. Rooney's goal was a fine strike but he was actually terrible when he came on. I was giving out yards about him to my brother moments before he scored. Good to see Pogba rebounding well from his bad performance the previous week. Left back position really proving troublesome now.

StGallsGAA

Can't fault the possession/domination stats yet again but too much being expected of Ibra.  Rooney and others need to step up to the plate more often and share the burden.

Seanie United have had about 6 of those days as you call them since the team has switched to the formation/tactics that most of us wanted so I think you're flogging a dead horse a bit by harping back to 2/3 very bad early season performances..

Thought Pogba was just ok yesterday too. Maybe he's just growing into expectation of being the world most expensive player but I said on here before he's capable of great moments rather than great games at present..

2 or 3 bad performances? You must be joking. Worst start in 26 or 27 years!

Tevez and Berbatov?  Not a hope.  Van Persie had one great season.
