Bad result last night, we've no hope of catching Chelsea unless they completely collapse which I just don't see happening.

Spurs were good last night but they won't win a league without adding more goals to that team. Like United they'll struggle with Thursday night football especially considering the size of their squad.

Liverpool in 10 days time is such a huge game, Mane will be a huge loss for them although Coutinho will probably be back. Liverpool have their weaknesses and I'd like to think United will exploit them.

I wouldn't want Carvalho at OT from what I've seen, too limited a player. So far Mourinho has made 4 brilliant signings, I trust him to get it right.

I dunno, I think we get obsessed about looking at other results. There are enough games left for every team to be masters of their own destiny. In Uniteds case they're on 39 points with 54 points to play for, another 39 points should see them comfortably in top 4 I'd say. A few more any they'd be in with an unlikely title shot, a few less and top 4 becomes a doubt. The only time you should be worrying about other teams results is with 4/5 games left, teams will all pick up and drop points unexpectedly along the way..

I see Ravel is back in town, training with Wigan but not been offered a contract yet. Some difference in career paths between him and Pogba.

Rooney levels Charltons record with his knee.

What was the point in risking Carrick today for 80mins?  Surely he should be wrapped in cotton wool and Schweinsteiger used for matches like today.

Plays today, doesn't play Tuesday night and plays next weekend. Hardly that taxing, doesn't need a fortnight off?

Carrick is some player for Utd.... he was overshadowed by the more popular players at Utd when they won the league when they wanted...it wasn't like he was rubbish it's just the other lads got the headlines... hopefully he'll continue for another couple of seasons as his record for Utd when he plays is outstanding
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Utd are on a serious run. Let's hope it continues.

I'm not questioning his energy levels Boycey!  He's not 64!  The point was if he picked up an injury in an FA cup win over Reading and missed 6-8 weeks of the league would it have been worth it?

Hull are without a lot of players tonight... 0-0 all over it

Decent run Jose Mourinhos Manchester United are on now, nine straight wins and fifteen games unbeaten.

Tidy win. Pogba must surely be the PL leading striker of the woodwork this season?

IF Utd qualify for the League Cup final the City league game is postponed from that weekend, should either Utd or City have a prolonged run in Europe alternative dates are few and far between. Shoehorning it into the last couple of weeks of season would leave Utd with consecutive away games at Arsenal, Spurs and City in a short space of time. It'd be a tough ask if points were required for position...

I suppose the reverse is that it only leaves 2 games against other teams in top 6 over next 13/14 games and one of them is this weekend..

Somewhere in there you are saying United are gonna win 10 on the bounce :-).

I'd imagine the Manchester Derby will be re-arranged for early March if United get the league cup final. I don't think the Premier League will take the risk of delaying it to April or May because of potential fixtures as you suggest.
