I think it's really taking the fans for a ride. They boast about full capacities for Old Trafford but they won't put the money back into the team.
They have spent close to £150 million since last summer ffs!!!!

For some clubs that's big money. It's pocket change for United to be honest.

Can't believe people are only realising what the Glazers are at now. If all United's money went back into transfers & wages they would easily match the oil money/government backed clubs in the transfer market.

Pocket change that they usually keep in their pocket.

Just think how many Fellianis you could buy with £700 million!

Ah, good to get back to unreasonable ways.

A bargain at twice the price.

Maybe, but you can hardly expect them to spend 300 or 400 million every transfer window.
150mill over the course of two transfer windows is huge money in anyones language no matter how much you have in the bank.
Nordie Tayto is shite

Just a small point of order United have spent roughly £135m over the last THREE transfer windows as things stand. An equivalant or smaller figure than many of their peers both in the Premier League and in Europe.

Look back over last 5/10 years, even over the history of the Premier League and you would be surprised at where United lie in the buying stakes. They would be very little difference in them and the likes of Liverpool and they would be dwarved by the likes of City/Chelsea

Not much was known about Vidic or Evra before they joined United. Rojo looked decent in the WC anyway so can only judge on that. Anyone see him play with Lisbon?  We will see what he is like soon enough

He can play centre half or left back.  Van Gaal is likely to stay with the 3 man defence for a while and see if it will work in the Pl.

Evra was a huge part of Monaco's run to the 2004 Champions League Final and an established French international. If "not much was known" about him, it's not down to his profile as a footballer.

He probaly was, seems a distant menory now.. should have just said Vidic.

seafoid

The Glazers will be around for at least the next 5 years and nobody is going to pay 2 bn or whatever price they ask. Maybe it's God's way of being nice to the other clubs.

Paul Scholes has the solution. Sign these lads and everything will be fine:

- did you read the article? He didn't say that.

Total sense from Scholes as usual.

Yep he has asked to leave, http://t.co/Wc58csGOtE PSG need to sell in order to buy due to FFP. Ibra is suppose to be out for 6 weeks so unlikely they will be offloading Lavezzi.

Unless there is someone waiting in the wings on this, this is utter madness.
Effective squad player, local boy.

Not happy.
