Shrewdness

Someone told me that Rojo is an excellent left back, but not quite as good at centre half. Has a tendency to lose awareness of his positioning. But any player who was voted onto the World Cup team of the tournament will do me.

Be careful, I remember thinking that about El Hadj Diouf back in 2002........

the graph here shows income versus net player spend for Man U since 2003

I suppose it's a logical stage in the development of money in sport.
But very bad news for fans.

Not having a pop at anyone here but are people really only noticing this now that United are in a slump??

Subjectively, I'm loving Man Utd's misery.

Objectively, the fact that these vultures can drain £700 million from a club (so far) and the authorities think this is okay is both disgraceful and scary.

And people used to think Martin Edwards was greedy.

Pop away and it's really the first time I've had a good read of Utd's financial rape

I think it's really taking the fans for a ride. They boast about full capacities for Old Trafford but they won't put the money back into the team.

look at it over 6 or 7 years, laoislad. The name of their game is getting the money out. They used the Ronaldo money to pay down debt.

For some clubs that's big money. It's pocket change for United to be honest.

Can't believe people are only realising what the Glazers are at now. If all United's money went back into transfers & wages they would easily match the oil money/government backed clubs in the transfer market.
