Didn't the '99 team go unbeaten in all competitions from a pre-Christmas defeat to 'boro to the end of the season?

Yup 33 games unbeaten in all competitions after that boro defeat

I take it that stat was just off the top of your head.........?

One more for Minder.

History repeating?

The last six occasions Man Utd & liverpool have met in FA cup (2006,1999,1996,1985,1979*,1977)
five times the winner has gone on to win the cup

*1979 Arsenal beat United in the final

Liverpool game is definitely not a foregone conclusion - I seem to remember the 'Pool going on a horrible run, maybe 1 win in 8 or 9 but yet that one win came against United....

Having said that, a serious set of results for United last night!!  ;D

Yup last seasons Anfield game & i think pool didn't win for another 8 games after that match? IMO depends on what team fergie selects... Evans,Neville,Gibson,Owen & Obertan are all rumoured to start.

Listen to the interview, the quote i posted was directed at Rooney. Fergie also talked about a player that wanted a block of flats before signing.

Fergie can say what he wants.

Rooney is now the top dog at OT.

End off.

Yeah i honestly do.

Rooney called Utd's bluff on a new contract and won hands down.

If I supported Utd I could never forgive Rooney for his behaviour.
