Quote from: cavanmaniac on March 26, 2026, 01:12:23 PMUnfortunately I'm not sure yet. Think this exact year is not the strongest Tyrone one. last 2 U20 winners, and minor last year but they're gone and the minors young, but this exact grouping of Tyrone at age 18-19 were beaten by Cavan at minor level in 2024 in the B All Ireland. Still great we got the win, just have to temper it slightly. Tyrone a one man team last night

Absolutely right. You'd just be delighted to see us picking up a win of any stripe against Tyrone, in these hungry times for Cavan county football teams. There are a few lads on the team that have a decent shot at coming through to senior too. Will be interesting to see how they fare against the other sides now.
It'll be big for the group regardless, and was good to hear interviews after when they immediately shifted focus to Armagh next week. As long as we don't fall in love with ourselves for beating a Tyrone team once, and instead use it build up to doing more

Derry came back from 0-12 to 1-3 down with 15 minutes left to beat Donegal 2-9 to 0-12 in the minors.

Quite often a strong wind straight down the field at Owenbeg. Im guessing Donegal had it in the first half.

Didn't Fermanagh beat Donegal last week? Seems a strange result, unless Donegal are very poor

Was thinking that must have been a factor.

Donegal won the game, albeit narrowly.

Derry kicking into gear, favourites to win Ulster and will be hard stopped in the All-Ireland series should they win Ulster.

That a bad score to concede in the U20's
