Long overdue ignore. Hopefully the wife quits bullying ya some day and you aren't as angry.

My god you're boring. Enjoy your lonely little ignorant fascist existence. You don't have a clue. About anything. You don't even know what you want to have a clue about.

You're so gullible.

I've been at the Dundalk and Monaghan protests and yet to see any UDA type scum there, just ordinary decent people who are sick of being shafted, yes I totally accept that there is a scummy far right element in places and what happened with the Muslim sisters of Eire is disgraceful but it is a tiny tiny proportion.

There was a man on flatbed lorry 2 night ago with a megaphone ranting about Ukrainians. The few hundred that were in attendance were cheering.

Not talking about Ukrainians, per se, but maybe people are just sick of being taken for fools?

Fairly bad optics if the government is riding us all in fuel tax and sending it to Ukraine to be fair, open net for far right....

Gardai have ended the O'Connell St blockade, Galway docks next.

Protests are one thing but attempting to cripple the economy with port and oil blockades is "January 6th" type evil and ignorance.
A crippled economy = no public finances available for a support package for a start.
Not to mention foul mouthed ranters roaring about running the Country.

Mind you the slow driving protests only inconvenienced ordinary people going about their daily work etc. No Ministers or TDs were inconvenienced.

As Milltown said earlier why not protest at Ministers and TDs constituency offices, block the area round the Dáil and Government buildings etc.

One thing I will blame "the Governmount" about is how they weren't aware this was coming.
Half the FF/FG or "gene pool" Independent Councillors must be farmers and must have known this was on the way.

In fairness some FF/FG TD's tried to warm the government and set up meetings but were ignored by the sounds of it.

If there isn't something done in the immediate term with the price of green diesel,  the construction sector in particular is on the verge of collapse.

It is unsustainable for groundwork crews in particular on the bigger sites to keep going. I don't think the average person realises how much fuel the bigger diggers, dumpers and tipper trucks consume on a daily basis. Once the groundworkers pull out of new jobs, which apparently is happening, then the knock on effect a few months down the line is catastrophic.

One for Armagh18 to blast out the windows today on his way to the Athletic grounds. Everyone else, try not to cringe too much.

Seemingly the Dublin elites are agin the protesters and the country folk love them...
I got the Dart now hassle while down home the people have sat in traffic for hours because they are commuters.
They are spending the weekend trying to see what forecourt has fuel to get them to work on Monday.

So any notions that there is support for blockades is gone.

Eddie Hobbs interviewed a lad who was five sheets to the wind on X. Patriots on a jollier.

Then beer bellied lugs shouting at 'Garda' traitors tell you all you need to know about them.
