Is DJT "uncancellable"? It seems no matter what is fired at him he seems to be able to slip and roll whilst others around him take the fall for lesser misdemeanours. The stuff on X and Threads around this topic is wild.

Really harsh stroke of luck for Starmer here. When he unexpectedly really pushed for him to become the ambassador to the US, who on earth could have foreseen that Peter Mandelson of all people would be tied up in such scandal?!

Mandelson always led a charmed life. No matter how many times he was booted out, for his various misdemeanours, he always managed to bounce right back & there was never any shame, or contrition, from him. Obviously he must know a lot of intriguing & sordid stuff, about a lot of high up, dodgy people.

Clearly he is.

It's a decade since he boasted that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and suffer no consequences.

We're running out of paper to document the multitude of things he's said and done since then that would end any other person's political career, never mind see them put into prison.

At some point surely he will piss of the wrong people / person? Johnson was a bit like this until he wasn't.

One thing is for sure - this boy will go down in history. He has done one year and look at the havoc he was wreaked. How anyone can even contemplate voting for this boy is beyond me.

The big difference is that Johnson didn't affect the whole world the way Trump does.

A large number of Americans are stupid in some ways alright.

Yet another Zionist with his hand on the tiller of British politics.

This Morgan McSweeney lad, Starmers Chief of Staff seems to be his protégé, from Cork originally with a bit of a chequered upbringing, from working on building sites in London, dropping out of university, to spending time in a kibbutz in Palestine  before joining the labour party.

He's likely to go today.

Being commander in chief bestows a powerful cloak of protection, sure even wild Bill was pretty much teflon during his stint and probably still does enjoy a fair bit of it. Everything so far appears fairly well curated but it will be interesting to see if if the sacraficed take a few more with them if they dare. It has only scratched the surface but it gives great insight into how the world really works.

It's worse. Mandleson was directly asked about his Epstien ties and flat out lied. So Starmer looks weak and stupid.

The new Russian angle is an interesting twist. He was accused of being Mossad when alive and up to last week that was the allegation. But now we are to believe the GRU ran him and were let do so

Having to even ask him the question was a stupid thing to do, in the first place. Mandelson had an established track record, built up over many years, of always being up to no good & frequently being sacked. He also didn't earn the "prince of darkness" title for nothing, so clearly he also 'shafted' more than a few people, in his time. How Starmer didn't know any of this is beyond me. Starmer is making Badenoch look good at the minute judging by the way that she got torn into him yesterday, which is some achievement,  in itself. If Labour loses the Manchester by-election, the knives will be out.

I doubt Starmer lasts that long.

I assume Mandleson played the Prince of Darkness card and had leverage and Starmer buckled. There is a circle, including McSweeney and Mandleson, that Starmer has to accommodate. We will see for how much longer.

Has Mitchell been badly treated here by Queens?

What is the specific allegation? An email from person unknown to other person unknown saying 5 years after he cut contact that he wanted a chat?

Maybe Starmer had a 'cunning plan' strategy all along....send dodgy Mandelson over to Washington, to deal with dodgy Trump. After all, they had previously had a very good friend in common. Otherwise, sending Mandelson over to the States never seemed to make any sense.

Mandleson pitched himself for it. Plum job, great perks, near the power. There was a logic, he is in Washington and not pissing at tents and could manage Trump a bit. Either due diligence wasn't done or a squeeze was performed

Mandelson by his own admission spent most of his waking minutes trying to get rid of Corbyn and was one of the main protagonists behind the scenes on the antisemitism campaign against him.

Starmer was his chosen leader along with the likes of Wes Streeting, Yvette Cooper etc.

This is now a power struggle within Labour, with the likes of Andy Burnham and Rayner trying to unseat this current group at the head of Labour.
