Dáithí Ó Sé followed by Matthew Broderick. Not sure which is more distasteful.

I hope they  went around with the  collection tin.

A friend made the comment "you could change the jerseys and it would be the exact same every year".

Anna Geary's a good looking woman. Just saying! Nice Cork brogue.

Marty had the coup of the evening with Matthew Broderick although I wasn't sure at the end of it was he supporting Dún na nGall or not?

All in all, a bit of light hearted entertainment.

I dont know why people give off about it, I enjoy it and it's the type of thing we need to get the neutrals excited for the game. I think it's similar to the the late late toy show

It's abit of craic, fun for the kids to watch and take part in as well. Your man from Kerry fairly messed up guessing the all star question wrong

Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

It's absolute muck, Des Cahill doesent help either.

I think we deserve better at this stage. We aren't in the 1960s anymore
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

What do you want on? Hear enough analysis on multi podcasts, the papers leading up to the game, 1hr before it starts.

The Boy Wonder

I quite enjoyed Up for the Match last night - some good chat from ex-players.

I'm not a fan of Des Cahill as a presenter - he's himself but can be a tad too smarmy at times.
Would much prefer a Michael Lyster type.

From the Bunker

Up for the Match is the same as The 2 Johnnies type of entertainment.

It's based on stereotypes, County Jerseys and low level banter.

Now there is an idea - The 2 Johnnies could do the show......
