Slaughtneil V Swatragh
Screen V Lynches

Junior semis
Lavey V Coleraine
Na Magha V Banagher

What's going wrong in Lavey hurling  cant seem to escape junior since the rejigging of the grades

Unlucky with the draw this year arguably having the best 2 teams in the county in their group.

They could have finished top 2 in the other group but I'd say very little different between banagher, screen and lavey with swatragh possibly slightly ahead of these 3.

Swatragh beating Kevin Lynchs last year during a hurricane on a day where the senior final was cancelled really affected seedings.

Would have had Coleraine in this group only a couple of years ago but they've dropped off massively since the peak of winning Intermeidate, but we all seen that coming

Champion The Wonder Horse

Lavey must be very short odds favourites for Ulster junior title and possibly all-Ireland too.

Swatragh and Screen got a bit ahead of themselves in that regard the last 2 years but never came to fruition

Are they even favourite in Derry? Banagher have arguably had better championship results despite defeat.

Maybe not the clubs themselves but others talking of Derry fixing the gradings so they would win all irelands etc

Wildweasel74

Which All-Irelands did they win? They very few hurling clubs in Derry to start with. Strong enough for Ulster but get murdered by Junior teams from Kilkenny, Galway or Munster!!

None, that's why I'm saying people got ahead of themselves

It didn't change them in the slightest

The finalists in the 3 grades were split across the groups

The result of those finals didn't come in to it at all

QF draw
Steelstown v Bellaghy
Slaughtneil v Lavey
Glen v Dungiven
M'felt v Bridge

Brendan

Vale or Kilrea for the potential shock, other 2 games seem straightforward

Ryan O

Bound to be one shock unfortunately can't see it being Loup or Banagher.

Kilrea have the potential but nobody ever seems to know what version of them turns up.

Faughanvale probably haven't done themselves justice in the senior championship yet and will view this as real opportunity to claim a big scalp

Derry Man
