I'd have been critical enough of McKaigue over the years, but there's no doubting his commitment to Derry. I thought he should have retired 3/4 years ago, but to be fair to him he was a crucial part of the 2 ulsters and he's had some terrific man marking jobs in that time too - so a good thing no-one listens to me

I wasn't aware Conor McCluskey had a long term injury, what happened him and how long is he out?
How much longer will McGrogan be out?

We need to find a couple of decent defenders to complement what we have, but I'm not quite as clear on the impact of this with the new rules. Will we need 3 man markers?

With the injuries and mckaigue retirement Tallys hand will be forced to  try new players which may not necessarily lead to a good league campaign but may help with panel depth longer term.

We won't have any U20 player until after the Donegal Ulster SFC game. That rules out Forbes, Murray, Doherty etc. Let's hope they are all unavailable until they win an All Ireland.

Going by your posts Scorcher1, are you hoping for a call up and wondering if those called up have already been notified? I for one hope you're brilliant and do get a call up, forward or defender I don't mind. In PT we trust.
