Quote from: GTP on August 12, 2025, 10:57:45 AMLets see what the rule bring to this year's championship, should be higher scoring and more entertainment which probably won't be hard considering a few of the games in recent years.
If there is a draw in the bunch I'd go with Magherafelt, Ballinascreen. Although only 8 across nearly 120 league matches suggest they aren't that common.
Lavey were lowest scorers in Dvision 1, Drumsurn could stay in the match longer than the bookies would suggest but can't see an upset.
Swatragh / Loup to be the highest scoring match.
Lavey Drumsurn
Swatragh Loup
Steelstown Faughanvale
Slaughtneil    Kilrea
Magherafelt Ballinascreen
Glen Banagher
Bellaghy Ballinderry
Newbridge Dungiven

and Banagher to relegate Ballinderry.

There's the accumulator gone already
Maybe Ballinderry pinned my prediction to the dressing room wall as motivation. I was only 17 points away from a Banagher win and 1 from 1 in the Championship which is the only thing that counts.

Could Ballinderry turn over Bellaghy? Banagher are a decent side and by all accounts they did want to be promoted.

I don't think there's much between Bellaghy & Ballinderry.

Heard Banagher have got rid of their manager with a couple local men taking over for their championship game against Glen.

are the championship matches ticket only or can you pay at the gate?

How much is it into one game or double header?

Could be value in the season pass.

I see it's a tenner for the 4 matches in Owenbeg tomorrow, 6 for the Single header Intermediate matches

It was £6 online and £5 at the gate for the match on Wednesday, don't know if this pricing structure will be maintained.

that seems odd... i know the app will get its cut with fees etc but why use the app if its cheaper at the gate (i know its only a pound but still)

The guy at the gate chuckled at me as I got my expensive online tickets scanned.
I hope the extra £3 goes to Derry GAA not the ticket app. Maybe they just printed the wrong amount on the sign for the ticket booth, I can't imagine it was anything other than a mistake and it will be same price on and offline for remainder of games.

Topmarks

Anyone go to the Lavey game during the week? Who were the stand out performances. Interested in how big Louis Regan and Rory McGill got on. Are they worth a look at in the county panel next year?
