Club ref situation is getting worse. Hearing the admin has stepped away and a lot of refs are NOT putting their name forward for games...

Think it's hurling is more of an issue but that's nothing new.

Quite a few clubs don't provide a ref and with no repercussions for doing so that isn't going to change any time soon to help the situation

Fly keeper in games earlier in the year and Meath beating Dublin really busted our Balls.

A v difficult draw. We are going to struggle to win a game this year. Not sure what will happen if that's the case.

If it's the same set up as previous years its
Game 1: Away v Donegal/Armagh
Game 2: Home v Galway/Mayo
Game 3: Neutral v Dublin

Game 3 you mean Dublin at home lol

Well we played them in Clones yrs ago, Meath beating them out Croke Park shows it can be done.

Be happy enough with no wins this year, saves us extending the misery like happened last year when we struggled to beat Westmeath. finish up early regroup and have a good crack at the Tailteann cup next year

So you'd rather not beat Armagh, Donegal, Galway, Mayo or Dublin this year? OK, that's sounds sensible

If we finish up with zero wins for the year which is extremely likely then there would have to be serious discussions on the management setup and their positions. The most disappointing thing is we have got worse as the year has gone on with no visible signs of any progress. I've seen some people giving them the excuse of arriving in the job late and playing catch up. That doesn't wash given our league performances when we actually played not too bad at the start of the league and deteriorated as the season went on. Any decision on a change of manager should happen quickly though as it's very important for next season's boss to have a chance to watch club games.

Can we wait until after the groups before we start talking about next year. A win could change everything.

Don't start talking about a new manager now....after all the hassle it was to get one this time!

I still think we could beat Mayo[ but I think Galway win here] Dublin maybe at a neutral venue. Record against Galway very poor, basically 3 of 4 teams  we could get in the top 2 seeds, would be expected to be in the semi-finals. Which happened us last yr with Galway,Armagh, and finally Kerry
