If it's not Mark Doran then who the hell is it gonna be? Shambolic that we don't have a management team in place and it's 1st October tomorrow. We are supposed to be one of the best teams in the country..or at least we have been top 4 or 5 over past 2 to 3 years. Is this solely down to the county board being inept at their jobs or have we been unlucky with potential candidates turning us down or not being available?

I think both can be true!

I go for Karl Lacey or Michael Murphy, even V Corey proved himself capable, there very limited options left out there, and they should had a man ready to go if they intended to get rid of Harte early doors. If they were thinking about Gallagher then, should just went with him. I get the feeling it be a In County appointment  at this late stage.

I had thought mickey was told to go before they gave him the boot. Very unlike mickey to walk away voluntarily

It sure is

Mickey was toast in Derry the moment Conor Glass stood arms raised open, questioning his substitution of club mate Emmet Bradley. There was no way back from that, what with the 'outside noise' shall we say.

Mickey had huge support in Tyrone so could do as he liked, but he was always skating on thin ice in Derry. In fact, if he was honest I'd say he never even put his stamp on the team at all. They were still playing to RGs template. Derry were too close to Sam to t**ker with the set up. He seemed to just roll with it.
