The Wolfhounds plying their trade in Div 1 and I see their community neighbours Limavady Utd have just won promotion to the top league....plenty of good work being done by the looks of it, a town on the rise

Wildweasel74

Limavady got 2/3 skyscrapers playing for them.

Ball

Yesterday went as expected though i did think we would start a few fringe players to give them more game time than off the bench.
Also good to see McEvoy back!

Any updates on the club leagues? Twitter/X used to be good for keeping up to date but clubs very poor at posting updates on scores, never mind team scorers or team sheets even

Derry Gaels will give a run down of club action but like you say they're relying on Clubs to feed the info to them

There's definitely a gap in the market men, what about 'Brendan's on the Ball*', I'd subscribe

* metaphorically speaking of course

Like you keep pointing out my contributions are shite but yeah be nice if someone could fill that gap  ;D

Going by the results there was no real shocks this week. Plenty of draws in Division 1. I think as division 2 goes on it'll be a real struggle for some of the teams

Last two Ulster titles with semi final wins over Monaghan.....

Where do we think the venue will be? Armagh or Omagh?

Brendan

Ref shortage getting no better, heard a number of refs done both senior and reserve today

Interstellar

Derry's finishing throughout the league was poor with multiple goal opportunities missed. Defence was also poor with teams going through us far too easily. I didn't see anything different yesterday against very poor opposition. A big improvement is needed against Monaghan who are past masters of over achievement for their group of players.

Ah man, maybe ever so slightly on the negative side at times, but not shite 😁

Heard this myself. On one hand fair play to the refs who done both games as I'm sure they could have easily said no to one of the games. On the other hand I feel we are only a couple of years away from games being cancelled due to no refs.

Looking at the current age of some of the referees we have you have to wonder how much longer they will do it for.

Wildweasel74

At a game the day, most of the shouting at refs is from Management more than supporters, who in general seem to have limited knowledge of new rules.
