It's not that strong but at same time Louth are camped in the scoring zone in a tight pitch. No space at all.

Estimator

Probably a 4/5 point wind. The penalty could be the difference. Derry trying to slow the thing down like the Cork game. But not getting the scores. Cawley poor, Glass getting hit every time he goes up. Took one in the ribs after catching. Ref tells Glass to play on. Glass challenges for one in the air and gets booked.

strong wind for Louth.
Crawley is awful. missed 2 breaches and a backpass to Louth keeper.
no point kicking into the breeze for derry in that first half and Louth defended the goal very well.
hopefully we can kick on in 2nd half with the breeze.

tbrick18

glass is getting targeted with no protection from ref or linesmem

CookieMonster

Need to throw everything at it in the second half. They'll try to get Glass sent off now.

Rawhide

That wasn't a penalty, side to side hit

Big credits to Niall Loughlin if anything, good to see McEvoy too. I still think Conor Glass is the best striker of a penalty even if it was a gift

Mario

McGuigan isn't a good penalty taker plus he was just taken out, should have let loughlin hit it. We could have stole that game if he'd scored.

Estimator

To bring it back to a 3pt game at 1-15 to 0-15 and then to lose the next pts was criminal. One for not marking Mulroy, one for Rogers waiting on the ball and one a handy free for taking a quick kick out

Bit of a reality check today which might not necessarily be a bad thing. We were a yard off it and I felt there was maybe a bit of complacency following a few hammerings we have handed out. Game was in the melting pot a few times but McGuigans penalty miss was crucial. Fair play to Louth, they fought hard for the win and just wanted it more.

Still in with a shout of promotion though which we would have taken after the first game.

Whole game Mulroy not man marked, when it was obvious at the game, if u marked him tight, it blunted they attack. That was the difference in the game. Thats on management.

Need a big favour from Tyrone next week. No guarantee Cork will win in Omagh, though Tyrone have nothing to play for.

Wildweasel74

Tyrone are away to the dogs, Cork bit like us dont travel well, but u couldnt rely on Tyrone the way they are at the minute.
