That sounds a bit like the trophy Rangers win regularly in Scotland

And yet Mayo won more national titles than Galway in that period.

A competition nobody wants to win and at final played a challenge match intensity. And then getting humiliated at home to the Rossies when the real stuff started a week later

Andy will have to prioritize Connacht first and foremost. Been a long long time between drinks. Making Ireland quarter finals can wait

QuoteNice to see a Rossie man get the gig.  ;D

QuoteIsn't it just.😁.
Meanwhile we're not rushing into an appointment.
Better wait till October as usual.

Tucking these away for when we beat ye out the gate next year. Bunch of clowns. Go away and do what yer King says.

Mayo for Sam 26

Captain Scarlet

Cavan and Roscommon seem to be in stasis over the past year, they can play well the odd time, but the pair of them don't seem like they are on the up.

What would be the idea of a positive season there?

I had lads from Cavan tell me there were agin McCabe but it all seemed to be fairly frictionless. What would be the expectations there?

This is a decent piece on it all. The 2nd season in a row where 10 new men have come in. And not all in the lower leagues either.

them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Rossfan

I posted that 7 hours before you😉🤪😜.

As for 2026 we need a manager and a decent backroom first.
Then a panel.
Donie Smith retired, Diarmuid wants to stay on.Ongoing injury probably means we've seen the last of Niall Daly.
Depends on the manager/ment if anyone else goes.

Right now expectations not too high
and might get lower if St Brigids win the County and go well in the Provincial/AI. They've 9 or 10 of the 2025 County panel.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Kevin Johnson appointed Galway U20 manager for a 3 year term, a stepping stone towards the senior job when it comes up maybe? He has a lot of work put in at academy level along with his club experience.

A good appointment I would say, although didn't really work out at Corofin.

Kevin Johnson Led Corofin to back to back county titles the last two years then beaten by the Roscommon champions Pearses,Brigids in Connacht.

As manager he also won the Sligo senior title with Tourlestrane in 2021 and led Ballintubber to back-to-back Mayo SFC crowns in 2018 and 2019.
