Looking forward to this weekends games. Dublin Monaghan will be closer than the 12 points to 3 points scoreline from their league match earlier this year. Championship different competition and Monaghan will be well up for this.
Armagh Donegal will be close too - expecting Aimee Mackin and Caroline O'Hanlon if at full tilt to sway this one. Only 1 point separated these in their league game so close match to be expected.

Dunno if anyone can shed light on this? Derry lost to Lancashire in Junior championship - heard 3rd hand re party time Manchester Friday night - players missed flights home etc - shocking if true and if true maybe reason why Derry are still stuck in Junior grade.

Louth favourites for this one - can't see anyone challenging them - Lancashire will give them a game but still expect the Louth girls to progress.

Would expect Kildare and Fermanagh to progress in the Intermediate grade this weekend and Kildare probably favourites to go all the way. With Waterford and Leitrim in the other semi final this will be close, but Kildare having played in the higher league this year, they would be expected to win through by September – though it won't be easy.
