I'd say the dalay to Monday has everything to do with Sky. The GAA should makevfixturesvto suit teams and fans and let Sky fit in with that.

Sky are going to show a game on 11/7. Not all the games are known yet. Waiting until Monday to see which match is not that bad a thing. But the GAA should just come out and say what they are doing.

I would be more interested in the GAA making the correct decision on when to play the games rather than when it is announced.

Clare v Cork will be Sky's match.

Given that it's now on the 12th itself rather than on the Saturday - any particular security concerns for travellers from the South?

mackers

None.....works out better for ye! The Orangemen believe the Sabbath is a day of rest....so the 12th "celebrations" are on Monday instead.  You will have no problems.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

What time is the kickoff in this one?

In Ireland, we throw the ball in.
The day, time and venue are unknown.

The Orangemen have been known to throw things at cars with southern registrations and do not park on the ring road, apparently it is ok for the Protestant population to block the Mall to pray but God forbid the fenians park their cars on the side of the road outside the ground!

I doubt it.
The Tuam Wards are usually well able to look after themselves.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Is there any chance this could be on BBC NI? I'm not sure if they've ever shown a qualifier match before.

They could well be showing Orange men...just not the GAA men...(not a chance). The only chance you will see that (seriously) if there was a massive brawl at the game or something negative that can stain our (GAA) reputation and they'll put it in the headlines of the news.
