I didn't know the three stooges were hurlers!

Typical Irish stereotyping there with those old films, but you got to wonder why they took part in it if they were going to be portrayed as thick loony Paddys.

Jinxy

They were probably given free drink.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

For those that missed it last night, it's repeated this Sunday at 19.15.

What a great show. Could have had more episodes even I thought. The stuff about the college teams in California, the hurlers in Milwaukee and the CYC youth championships were just...hard to describe my feelings watching them. Massive pride, amazement, wonder...just great to see.
I did the J1 thing myself back in the day, Boston, Canton, Dorchester Ave..etc etc..Great memories. Have many friends and family involved all over the US & Canada.
One thing I was interested in was the Games Development Administrators being employed full time by the GAA over there..I didn't know about that. Anybody know how many there are?

What the f**k was that? I'm telling you, you're living in California way too long.

Just finished watching the final two episodes.  Fantastic stuff, thoroughly engaging, well produced.  It had a strong emotional pull as well, I have to admit.  And great job, Eamonn, tying it all up at the end.

I don't know if they're all full time, initially they were part time when that program started. They're in San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Philly, New York, and I think San Diego too.

I agree there's probably several more episodes in the colleges and the Milwaukee and Indy clubs alone. I'm sure they shot enough material to cover it all but it's a matter of how much air time they can get.

The glare from my head would have blinded the camera.
