Fear ón Srath Bán

The conversation in Sheehy's skull before starting this thread, may have gone something thus:

"Must start a thread on Ulster football?"

"Good idea, though are you sure? What (else) can you say about it though, it's not like you haven't made your feelings known over this last decade and more?"

"I'll draw them in with bullshit about Donegal and their manager being just fantastic, after what they did to the Dubs. It helps too that they're not from the 6 Counties, you know, how I just love the way the Brits dealt with Partition, hee hee! And nothing like an out bit of plastic plamás before the showdown."

"Brilliant, I'll be here if you need me... Wait, we're in this together right?"

"Sure (left hand side of the) brain, just you and me, just you and me..."

Another verbose fail.

Brainless footballers are hard to train though and they can't work out how to win games against well organised teams themselves.

Brainless ? what brains do you need to run up and down the field in a pack. That's basically all Tyrone did. Face it, you just went negative to win and more power to ye. No-one outside Tyrone will ever hold ye in much regard though.

Ye'll never produce a Maurice Fitzgerald or a Colm Cooper. That is more important to us than winning every all-Ireland. Style and class are more important than adding to our total..sure we already have 36 of them.

Give me Peter Canavan any day of the week over these 2.  You really haven't got over those 3 defeats yet.....hopefully some day you can let go.

Some Kerry people think that beating ye at home in a Mickey mouse back door game made up for those defeats.  ;D

Sure, what are Mayo good for only winning the Mickey mouse games. It's not like they ever do the job when it matters.

You are obviously still sore about last weekend  ;D

You can say that again! It's hard at the best of times to beat Kerry, but when they have the referee on their side and playing in a neighbouring county you are banjaxed!

Re Donegal (2011-2014) v Tyrone (2003-2008) v Armagh (1999-2006)

Armagh won their one and only all Ireland by beating a team that Tyrone beat twice in subsequent Ireland finals. What team was it ?

Yes  its ridiculous for a county to claim to be a better team than another even with less All-Irelands!

Well, at the moment it seems that Seafoid is more interested in the answer than anyone else

He has had an obsession with me since I exposed his habit of visiting SM clubs in Tel Aviv  ;D

Yes. Why don't we simply post a list of All Ireland winners at the GAABaord Url and shut down the forum, this would answer everything.

Wasn't Kieran Donaghy's late father from Tyrone as well ? Where  would Kerry be without Donaghy?

Probably still in the South West of the country.
