A disappointed crowd, no doubt.
A game of goals out of the blue.

Was this 2 bald men fighting over  a comb? Armagh look like they'll get relegated.

Incredibly poor conditions. Very very strong wind, heavy rain and bitter cold. Weather obviously took toll on crowd and quality of football. Whoever was to win this match would have to consider themselves lucky. Armagh got a very lucky goal but missed a few chances. I thought the first Down goal was a square ball but would need a reply to decide. May well mean Armagh get relegated but hope a few players learn a few things. He may not be many people's favorite but McKeever was great for Armagh today.

It looked squarer than Grimley's red neck.

Lads I know there is plenty of rule changes these days but you should know you can't get called for square ball from play anymore.

Horrible horrible conditions to play in but can't fault the Armagh players for the defeat. They were committed and worked hard, as a supporter that's what you want to see. Mckeever was immense tonight.

Sorry JP you are wrong there. From play the square ball rule means you can enter the square before the ball but after it is passed. Similar to offside in soccer. I thought the Down man was in the square before the initial shot.

You learn something new every day! ;D

Better from Armagh today, on a shite evening, thank God for the biggest covered stand in Ulster. McKeever showed his worth, his Cullyhanna colleague showed why he has a reputation for hothead responses. Disappointed we didn't manage a draw at least.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

Thought it was a square ball myself and he was def in the square before the ball was played but the commentator reckons the Armagh back getting a slight touch on the ball meant it wasn't

Soaked but satisfied- Down were lucky enough but it's been a long time coming agin themuns. Both teams displayed good commitment but both teams are not coming down with quality- Mc Keever was good but so were Peter Turley and Mc Kernan. O'Hagan marked Jamie Clarke well. Down should pick up another 2 points to make them safe but it will be a tight one for Armagh Next game is home to Donegal so content with 3 points at this stage.

what a night for football. terrible conditions but still brilliant to get a long overdue win in the athletic grounds. its hard to judge any player or system on such a night when mistakes and turnovers from both teams were plentiful. all the down lads deserve a lot of credit for grinding out a win when the game looked lost.
