Iceland have won only 2 of their last 17.  Both against.....yes you guessed it!
it's 'circle the wagons time again' here comes the cavalry!

Good result for us last night.
farcical conditions in the first half though - would have been comedy gold if i was a neutral.
Second half the pitch ha calmed down a bit.

Qualification is as pointed out hanging by a thread - dont expect it myself, but strange things happen...

QuoteThey must have been cringing though when the beeb seemed to find every Rangers jersey and scarf during the celebrations afterwards.

I didnt see the coverage obvously, but in the ground i personally did not see one rangers top! the only blue i saw where ni blue tops and one blue fulham top. Where there really that many?

If I was told at the start of the qualifying campaign that the Republic would qualify if they could go away to an already-qualified Germany and win and rely on the Czech Republic being beaten by Wales, I'd have taken that.

Healy new record holder.  That strike was his 13th of the qualifying campaign, which now sees the Fulham man in the record books as highest ever goalscorer in a European qualifying season, eclipsing Davor Suker of Croatia's 12.
You have to hand it to him, that goal last nite was ridiculous.  Seen the Rangers contingent throughout the crowd, ah well did anyone expect anything else?  Congratulations to Healy! Away in a manger.....
I'm gonna punch you in the ovary, that's what I'm gonna do. A straight shot. Right to the babymaker.

I certainly would have expected different - as i said i saw nothing, but obviously they where there then.
I assume they where dotted throughout the crowd and in a very small minority?

In fairness from what I saw, the camera kept going back to the same minority.

The killing part is that I'll make the same mistake again - put some thought and effort into an argument and expect the same in return :D

Unfortunately yes....but I wouldnt let it take away from a deadly performance from OWC...as a mate of mine said this morning....Healy produces outstanding performances and outrageous goals when he is wearing green. Why can he not do that in England??

I dont think that the owc fans give a damn what he does in England, he is a wonderful international player and his strike rate is tremendous.
