Haha, the rossie is in to back up Jimmy the coont, he had a whole week rossie, he has plenty journo friends despite his disgusting mannerism toward them.

What mannerism is that? Has he a facial tick or something? Can't say I ever noticed it myself.
it would be difficult for you to see his face when your head is rammed so far up his arse

Classy ludermor very classy. I see you have nearly 3000 posts. You must be exhausted maintaining such a high standard.
exhausted, not at all ! In fact it comes easy to me. You the other hand seem to be flat out defending poor jim from any slight and that must tiring .

God no ludermor. No more than yourself it all comes easy to me too. I find that bitterness, begrudgery & crudeness take far more out of me, so I leave that to t**sers like you ;) ;) ;)
and where have I have been bitter or begrudging ( ill give ya the crudeness!)
Just a wild guess ludermor, just a wild guess ;D ;D

I tell ya if this interview was designed to provoke reaction among us Mayo folk , it has worked a treat, facebook and twitter is hoping and there are tv s been thrown out of pub windows from Belmulet to Ballaghaderreen.

Were those the new T.V's they got to replace the ones that went through the windows after last year's final?
Tv men & glaziers must be doing well in Mayo!!

Why didn't Jim voice his concern at the start of the championship.

Jim didn't have much regard for Joe Mc Mahon a couple of years ago.

Jim's trying to get into the minds of the ref and officials for next Sunday.

Jim's a good manager and a smart one as well. But does he think refs and the rest of us are skupid ?.

He didn't say anything before now because all these injuries have occured in the last three games.
I will in no way stand over what happened to Joe McMahon
As has already been stated Jim couldn't have been trying to get into thr refs head for Sunday as the interview took place before the draw was made.
As to the rest of you being "skupid"...........................

That's exactly my point. He went too far and at best for Donegal it wont have any effect on next week's ref or at worst it will backfire on them. Very cynical by Jim. Spinal injuries.... FFS????!!!

Why do you think spinal injuries are out of the question?

It's all fun and games until somebody bursts their spleen.

Nope, Jim answering a question & fools going ballistic. Sad really.

Some of Jimmys lapdogs in the media will run with the targeting of Donegal players story. The smarter ones will recognise Jimmys little plan and run a story about a cynical manager who's under pressure.
Mayo to win next Sunday (without clothes-lining anyone) and Jimmy the great to dry his eyes

sans pessimism

'Duty of care indeed' Jimmy. In this instance you have failed your players though.... just as you have failed Mark McHugh for a few years now by playing such a lightly framed player in a role that makes him more prone to receiving 'hits' that his body can't take.

The first time a Mayo player 'tackles' a Donegal one next Sunday, what will the ref almost subconsciously think ? ..... "i'm not buying that McGuinness sh*te and giving Donegal a soft free"
After a Donegal tackle on a Mayo player ..... the reverse will be true: "jays i can't be allowing that after all the pre-match talk in the media".

Jimmy, you must have been out the day they covered reverse psychology and the appropriate time to try it !
Thanks !

Donegal are definitely in trouble as defending champions usually are.

Not a media gaffe he'd have made last year

Given the great season Sligo just had, not to mention your problems with your own manager, it might do you no harm to pull in your horns a bit. I can tell you this Sligo would give their right hand in the morning to have him & you know that's the truth.

As to Sunday, you may well be right. As it happens Mayo are my pick to win Sam this year.
