All that I can say is feck, feck and feckity feck.

Oh, and good luck Galway in the game against Cork

I take it Paul Grimley will be issuing a hand written articulate apology to very Armagh fan after that to day?

Well beaten by Average Cavan and. Galway teams, and a resounding win over Leitrim's B Team and a Wicklow side that threw in the towel after 5 minutes. Season Rating D minus.

Only Mc Keever,Dyas and Campbell can hang their heads high after that one.The two corner backs wouldn't have got their places in the Cross team ten years ago never mind the County team. Also why the prolonged warm up for over half an hour, beginning at 4 O Clock? Was this not energy sapping and foolish in the extreme?

Fully deserved victory for Galway.

Armaghgeddon

Think Armagh fans are being a little too harsh on Cavan they have beaten Armagh, Fermanagh twice, Lost by a point to Monaghan and beat Derry. Think it is time for this year at least that Cavan are given credit as an authentic top 16 team in the country who are likely to make it to the last 8. They have done more this season than what Armagh have in the previous 2 seasons.

T Fearon

They're still far from the top table.I don't begrudge them their success, they have better players and better management than we have.

Well done Galway! Connacht not looking so weak?

Well only galway and mayo left so its pretty weak, Ros, leitrim and sligo were a disgrace, though mayo will do well.

In fairness ros got within two points of Tyrone. Leitrim were disgrace v Armagh and Sligo should be doing better.

Ah don't mind Orchardman, he's just sore after so many losses to the superior Connacht race.

Dread to think of what your definition of superior is

Well there is only five of us you know plus the two hybrids. Once again well done Galway. Cork are not all they are supposed to be. Take it from Mayo (in the doldrums 2011).

Clarin Pearl

2 Second Division Teams and all that. its just nice to see a bit of backbone in the Galway team. The game was there to be won and they won it for a change. onwards and upwards.

A half-hour warm-up in a heatwave does seem stupid.

Well done to Galway. They have done well to pick the heads up after the loss to Mayo.
Would Bradshaw come back at this stage of the championship or would the rest of the panel want him back? I reckon they'll give Cork a belly full next week and they should go into it full of confidence.

Articulate? The last apology didn't even have basic punctuation.

D minus? Who cares about ratings? We're out, end of.
McKeever scored a couple of good points but it shouldn't disguise the fact that he's an average player and his performance against Galway, on the whole, was nothing special.
James Morgan would have got his place on the Cross team of 10 years ago. Daft statement to make.

They've done more than Armagh have since 2008.

And here, to think some people gave Grimley all the credit that fateful Sunday in Casement 3 years ago when Monaghan hammered us. I'd say they feel vindicated  ::)

He's in New York. I'd be amazed if we saw him again this season.

Tony have to disagree with you on McKeever too, he scored a couple of pts granted but his defensive duties and man marking has gone, all he's interested in is getting a big hit in and making him look hard and I thought he was poor as he's been all year. A kernan, t kernan, midfield, two Rafferty's, Clarke, were all poor.
Campbell and dyas were the only two players for me on the day and to make matters worse when Campbell was playing out of his skin he puts forker on and moves Campbell...wtf

One more point...majority of times galway had 4 against 2 at the back so why didn't grimley push another man r two up on the spare men to counteract this defensive wall...Cavan game all over again ffs.

There is no doubt that Galway had men back, this was very obvious in kickouts, which probably marks a change in their thinking. But in some ways this was the opposite of the Cavan game, then we pushed me up (who didn't do very much) and when Cavan broke out there wasn't much to stop them in our half.

I suppose that point is that you need a nuanced approach, that adapts to things and if it not working then tweak it.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

Anyone else think that both A and T Kernan were uncharacteristically highly towards their opponents for the entire game yesterday? Sacking of daddy still rankles (I mean his sacking by Galway!)

Listened to the game via net
Still annoyed but feel the turning point was when t kernan put the 50 wide when we had a chance to narrow it to a point Galway went down the field and scored to increase it to 3
Armagh continued to allow short kickouts until late in the game
A kernan missing two free kicks towards the end also didn't help

For me I think we need a change as manager because his comments about being an interim manager don't help the team
I also think some of our players are not as good as we think they are

In the league we were mediocre and in the championship we beat two div 4 teams who gave up the ghost early on.

Armagh are probably the 7 best team in ulster
At present with only Fermanagh and Antrim realistically below us.
