If you were any use you'd be playing.

It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Ollie Murphy was rounder than any of those.

Yeah and Anthony "Larry" Finnerty paved the way for Ollie Murphy in terms the rounded ( in the nicest possiblle way) corner forward and he's not on the list ;).

the derg

Gary Mason ....corner forward, corner back or midfield  he was a superb all rounder

BennyHarp

That was never a square ball!!

In the true spirit of this thread I think Evan Kelly would have been the most versatile player we've had more than any of those listed.

Perhaps even Anthony Moyles after Eamonn O'Brien had him playing every where except in goals. Not suggesting he mastered every position he was in by the way.

I think it's safe to say that Meath are the best all round team of the last 25 years.

Is an All rounder not suppose to be somebody who played/can play in a number of positions. A lot of them players were always in the same position.

No doubt about it. Geraghty, of course, was the supreme all-rounder, possibly of all time but, as juice points out, Kelly and Moyles played equally proficiently in both defence and attack. Curtis and Joe Cassells too and probably others I can't remember. And sure Darren Fay scored a goal in the Championship too.

Meath love-in here.

Yer missing this fella........................

I can't believe it........................................................

What the hell have ye done leaving this fella out.................................................

Thats him having scored 23 goals and 16 points against Down. He is running there to get on the horse for the Punchestown Gold Cup.*

* He won the race by 79 lengths later that day.
