Fantastic result. I didn't think we had done enough in first half but really solid second half hot us over the line. McGeary excellent, great second half from Daly and introduction of McElhome so exciting. Bring on the semis.

Hopefully that performance takes the heat off some of the younger players that performed there today. Young players take time to develop. People on here seem to think everythings done overnight. The young lads might go out next time and not get a touch but that's part of the process. It'll still be another 2-3 years before they're fully there but it will come

Huge effort by all involved. Particularly impressive today were Teague, Hampsey, Devlin, McGeary and the subs of course.

Some others know they could be on a shaky nail to start in 2 weeks time after average showings.

Underdogs to lift it, but as we know anything can happen in 2 and a bit hours of football. Enjoy the pre semi buzz

Worst tyrone performance I've seen in a long time but I'll take it.  Can't be as bad the next day

I don't mean this as a dig at the lad, he's a very successful footballer, but is Ben McDonnell really the 3rd best MF in Tyrone? He's the only MF named among the subs. There's a fairly steep drop off in quality among those subs, Harte and McElholm aside. I suppose Dublins subs are as bad if not in fact a bit weaker than ours.

There's a fair few lads who have been great footballers and an a few who could become great footballers but the bench doesn't stand out in the way Galway's or Armagh's do.

Galway have a bench of comer, Culhane, Molloy and Cooke. Armagh can call on Mackin, mc Kay, mc cabe, Duffy, Hughes, Callum O'Neill and hall. It's a fairly incredible bench.

To be fair he was the only midfielder today. Conn Kilpatrick how he lasted 70mins I will never know

I'm assuming you've been stuck on a desert ireland from 2022, with no access to the Internet or human society until today.

Did you stop following Tyrone after they won the All Ireland in 2021?

I was going to say. I can think if about 10 in the last 3 years that were much, much, much worse than today. Mayo, Roscommon 2024 and Clare 2024 without going near the league.

Conditions weren't conducive to flowing football but the lads ground a win out. There's plenty to work on and much more in the tank.

Great to see Ciaran Daly who's had a lot of unfair stick on here have a big game. He gets through a mountain of work especially defensively that gets overlooked. Peter Teague had a very solid game as well hopefully his knock was no more than that. For all the talk of O'Cofaigh Byrne he hardly touched leather today.

We can watch on tomorrow and see what the draw throws up. We're in a good place

Give the man his due Ben was fairly good today, well worthy of his introduction. Conn probably got 70 because Ben had come on for Brennan and so we'd no MF sub left to make. The remaining subs were all fairly small men.

Teague and Brennan have been huge additions to this years team. They add a huge solidity to the backs. It may not have been apparent on tv but Seany and Daly were very tenacious in defence and played a huge part in the turnovers we got in the 2nd half. Both were key in the victory.

Inside forwards still a big concern, Canavan's poor showings continue and McCurry had his first bad day of the season. We were lucky that our defence was much, much better than Dublin's attack. McElholm was brilliant when introduced but is he possibly too young/light to start against Donegal, Armagh or Galway? I doubt he would be.

An enjoyable win albeit a poor enough performance for long periods.

Brilliant result for a few reasons, rode their luck, a few dodgy ref calls that went our way, but in a semi with a sobering amount of work to do and without Mckernan. The blocks, doggedness and that edge was excellent, that win should bring the team on a huge amount - all-ireland is wide open

Great to get over the line twice this year in big games. McCurry just one of them days that nothing went right. Canavan got in better positions second half and finished with 3 points. Didnt suit early ball in the first half as dubs allowed us to the edge of the D unchallenged and allowed the 2 point kicking

Thought some players could have been swapped out sooner but can't complain about what the management did as the subs worked. Peter Teague a quality addition and should have been involved much more in recent years

A win's a win! Beating the Dubs in the championship in Croke Park is huge. A brilliant day. I wouldn't get too hung up on performance. Donegal were taken apart in their first half by Monaghan... Dubs were poor yesterday had great win over Derry last round. It happens.
I'd fear no-one. Selection of Malachy O'Rourke vindicated. Was a great day out!

I'd agree with you sir - will take a win over Kerry or Dublin in any form no matter how it comes but it was a very flat game of football until the last ten. Hopefully we can click into gear a bit better in two weeks time as I'd say it may be needed but a win's a win. Feel like we need to let the ball in earlier, we get a lot of compliment's on our full forward line but if the supply isn't coming early enough then we're struggling to get the best out of them.
