Half forward line offering absolutely nothing. Don't get what MOR sees in Daly and Donaghy.

Delgany 2nds

MO'R will need to hook those two at HT.
Big guns to come in and bring game to Armagh. Too many turn overs !

I really don't see what Ciaran Daly adds, nice lad no doubt and extremely fit, however I can think of about 8-10 better options for us there at least.

Need more height in the full forward line. Conn and kennedy done well to break the tackle and go straight towards goal. Darragh,  Ruaíri and mccurry not able to do this.

Need a few 2 pointers in this half

What was Morgan doing rushing that last kickout. Should have settled it.

Morgan had a nightmare with final 2 kickouts however the lack of tyrone movement didnt help him

Tyrone's movement was woeful. Morgan was well below his usual standard but we put him under pressure to hit inch perfect kick outs.
Our defence wasn't at the races. Went through large periods of that game without laying a glove on the Armagh attack. This jogging along without tackling or stepping into the men is hard to watch. They constantly had men over in attack because we were getting pulled around without making contact.
McCurry class act again.
They were much the fitter team as well. That will need looked at. Will be hard to catch up on the level of conditioning of Armagh but we were lethargic looking Moving out of defence.

This 100%. Could you image the 00s team jogging alongside an armagh man without laying a hand on him, never in a million years. Can teach alot of things but you cant teach intensity

He wasn't alone. The whole HF line replaced and should have been sooner than they were. How many opportunities is RC going to get? McElholm was excellent when he came on.

Frustrating to lose and in those circumstances ane there is plenty to work on - but there was also a lot to like about the performance. Remember where we are coming from after two years of being a bit of a shambles, while also introducing new players and adapting to new rules. It was always going to take a bit of time - and tonight we were up against a far more settled and established setup. Despite all that, Tyrone will know they should have won. Plenty of positives to take and plenty of other things to be worked on, but for sure looked very much like a team on an upward trajectory and with bigger tests to come.

Who are the new players we have introduced?
Every team is adapting to new rules, feeble excuse that...
Armagh hadn't an established team on the pitch. They only started with 6 players from last years all Ireland final but I agree they have a more settled set up

This time last year we lost a semi final to Donegal after ET and look what happened after that

The Trap

Relegated.
Beat a terrible Cavan team and lost to Armagh with only 6 of their All Ireland starting team.
Whatever the plan was on both kickouts malfunctioned badly.
Would need to finish the season strongly. Could get a tough group as well.

I know they only started with 6 of their AI team but some of the replacements are better.
